Trying new things - Sock Knitting

 Next month we will do a pair of socks Knit Along with my knitting group. Since I already got my wool I wanted to try it out and choose a model from Drops:

It is funny to see how a sock can grow from just one thread like that, but I realize I am very much a beginner at knitting and I need much more practice! They look a bit too loose, and I decided to make them shorter, but I still used the same number of stitches which makes them extra loose at the top. 

Well, they no longer exist and I will use the yarn for the Knit Along. I will make a test patch and hopefully figure out how to do to make them fit better this time. Other things in the pipeline is a pillow and a hat.. Pictures to come..
